From 12:00pm to 13:00pm
Ladies and gentlemen, get one of the best workouts this year (or perhaps your life) with personal trainer and fitness influencer Bradley Simmonds when he comes to intu Uxbridge.
On Saturday 2 February, Bradley will be visiting the shopping centre to host a one-hour fitness session on the mall from 12-1pm – free for all to join in! Guaranteed to set pulses racing and work up a sweat, Bradley will be taking HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) classes, one of his specialities.
HIIT is an intense form of cardiovascular exercise that can be done at home, in the gym or even on a shopping mall. It involves being incredibly active for periods ranging from 30 seconds to three minutes working between 80-100% of your maximum heart rate with short recovery periods. This is great for all abilities of fitness – effort is the main catalyst of HIIT’s success.
Bradley’s introduction to fitness comes from his background as a professional footballer for clubs such as Chelsea FC and Queens Park Rangers. From there he learnt from the best nutritionists and strength and conditioning coaches, which inspired him in his pursuit for a new career as a personal trainer.
Bradley has become an ambassador for brands such as Adidas, Lucozade, TAG Heuer and Maxi Muscle. He trains the likes of John Terry, Theo Walcott, Louise Redknapp and other household names. His debut book “Get it Done’ has been published and made it into the Sunday Times Top 10 for Food and Drink.
Bradley aims to motivate millions of people every day to live and maintain a healthy sustainable lifestyle, whilst working with more of the country’s credible brands and the world’s greatest athletes.
On his visit to intu Uxbridge, 10 people will also get the chance to meet with Bradley when taking part in a fun competition on the day. “This time of the year is important for fitness and to get motivated into lead a better and healthier lifestyle,” said marketing manager at intu Uxbridge, Natasha House.
She adds: “Bradley is an inspiration for people of all fitness abilities and has advise and tips to get into shape that doesn’t necessarily mean joining a gym or buying expensive equipment. Many of our stores have fitness clothing and equipment, especially Decathlon which has everything you need for a home workout. This free event is the perfect opportunity to learn from the best and make a positive change to your life.”
The fitness class at intu Uxbridge will take place on the Lower Mall outside Next.
