The people of Uxbridge have spoken and now it’s official … the pop-up table tennis space has returned to intu Uxbridge.

Thanks to the roaring success of the previous Ping Pong Parlour pop-up which intu Uxbridge hosted in collaboration with Table Tennis England, the shopping centre has now opened its very own ping pong pop-up.

It’s all totally free to use. Just come along pick up a bat and ball, take your turn one of the three tables … and let intu Uxbridge put a smile on your face! intu Uxbridge invites families to sign up to its intu family club to be the first to find out about events and activities such as ping pong, plus get exclusive offers and discounts, a free gift, welcome pack, magazine and much more. Sign up for free at or at the Customer Information Desk.

The ping-pong pop-up is ready to serve up a whole load of excitement and entertainment to hundreds of visitors, from impressive hot shots to curious amateurs. Everyone’s invited, and the centre hopes its return will continue to have a positive impact on the community by getting people active and encouraging them to have fun.

The previous Ping Pong Parlour was one of 30 which opened around the UK. At intu Uxbridge it had hundreds of visitors during its eight-week stint, which was extended thanks to its popularity. Visitors missed it when it closed, so now it’s back by popular demand.

Laurie Taylor, general manager at intu Uxbridge, said: “We saw how last year’s table tennis pop-up inspired local people to get active and help to lead happier, healthier lifestyles. Ping pong is a great activity and suitable for absolutely everyone so pop along, ping pong, and enjoy!”
