Calm is a meditation and sleep aid app, that promises to help users sleep better, boost confidence and reduce stress and anxiety, all with the help of guided meditations, soothing music, and bedtime stories. They have sections for both adults and children and have a wide range of bedtime stories for kids.

The Headspace app works as your personal guide to health and happiness. It helps you to focus, breathe, stay calm and sleep better through skills of relaxation, meditation, and mindfulness. In just a few minutes a day, youíll learn how to train your mind and body for a healthier, happier, stress-free life.

Instagram is a simple, fun & creative way to capture, edit & share photos, videos & messages with friends & family. Allows you to keep in touch and share photos of your day to day life with family, friends and followers around the world.
Audible app allows you to listen to the worldís best storytelling. Enjoy audiobooks, original series, podcasts and more.
Cost: 30 day free trail and then £7.99 per month. You get one credit (download) per month but can buy additional. All podcasts and Audible originals are free.

TikTok is the destination for short-form mobile videos. A great way to pass the time, you can film videos to send to family and friends and not post to the public or you can share it with the world. Re-enact your favourite movies or sporting moments, learn a dance or a workout, there is something for everyone on TikTok.
Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney + to name a few are all online video streaming services. The prices per service are around £7.99 per month, each service has hours of movies and TV shows. Great for passing the time.

Duolingo is an easy to use languages app with 300 million plus users. There are 30 languages to choose from and each course takes you from the real basics to more advanced levels. Perfect for all ages.
Houseparty, is a social networking service that enables group video chatting through mobile and desktop apps. Users receive a notification when friends are online and available to group video chat.
